Am I nervous to graduate? I wouldn’t say I am nervous to graduate, I’m more nervous about being able to pass all my classes by June 3rd. I am very excited to graduate, because it’s a new beginning into reality. The preparations I have made for post-graduation is saving up money so that I am able to pay for my school books and other supplies I will need. Since I am still going to be living at home while I attend a community college, I will be able to find a job and save money. I will be saving money because I would like to move to Los Angeles.
I currently need to finish my agriculture class, which I am almost finished with. I only have two measurement topics left to finish. Once I finish those two topics, I will finally be done with the class and change my class period to workshop. When I’m able to switch to workshop I will be able to work on my other classes I need to finish. I would have two workshop periods to catch up on my classes that I am behind in or want to get ahead in. I also need to finish some work from first semester for english 12A. I can get the work done I just need to push myself to finish the work. By the end of March I should be done with my agriculture class and be caught up with my English class. I should be caught up with my English class soon, if I just keep working and finishing the papers that need to be done.
I am looking forward to the farewell rally, grad night and graduation. The farewell rally will be our last Lindsay High School rally we will attend. It’s going to be a sad, but an exciting day for the seniors because it will be all of 2016 class together, one last time singing the Alma Mater song. Also, I am looking forward to grad night. Grad night is the main day that all seniors look forward to. It is the one day were the whole senior class is together and able to spend time with all your friends, together at Disneyland and have fun and go on rides. It is one of the most favorite days for seniors because it’s where everyone can just have fun and take pictures together. Graduation is the most important day for a senior. It is the day where we are finally finished with Lindsay High School. I’m excited to finally be finished with high school and move on to the reality and be able to make my own decisions and find a job and make my own money. Graduation is the last day that the class of 2016 will be together. These are the 3 main events I will be looking forward to from the rest of my senior year.
I am grateful for all the teachers that have helped me through high school and helped me to succeed my goal by the end of the year and helping me to set new goals that can help me succeed. All of my teachers throughout my four years, have pushed me to succeed and finish all of the courses. Also, I am very grateful for all the friends I have today and have met throughout my high school years. Looking back on senior year, Lindsay High School has shown me many different lessons. I am happy with all the decisions I have made. The decisions I have made throughout my Lindsay High School years, do not have any dissatisfaction towards my desiosions. Lindsay High School has had its ups and downs but the decisions I have made, make me who I am today and I am grateful.

My winter break was great, mostly because I did a lot of sleeping. It was really relaxing and just what I needed. What I loved the most from first semester was the beginning of senior year it seemed all so easy. The beginning of the semester is always easy. Of course, everyone is on pace at the beginning of the school year. What I do regret is not focusing hard enough and trying to get ahead in my classes. I should have not lagged on my assignments and turn in everything that was supposed to be done on time by the due date.
The reality of last semester, has finally hit me. I can’t believe how fast high school went by. I had never believed my friends and family when they said “high school goes by fast, enjoy it”. I always said it felt like forever, but now graduation is almost here in a couple months.
The beginning of first semester I didn’t even feel like a senior I still felt like a junior, thinking I still had another year and thinking I still have plenty of time to finish all my senior classes and other projects such as my website, fafsa and my exit interview powerpoint that I need to present. It finally hit me when 2nd semester started, because that only meant seniors will have one last semester before we graduate and to get everything done and finally be done with high school.
The fact that it's the last semester it puts a lot of stress on seniors but still have that urge of excitement to be able to graduate. What I need to accomplish is to make sure I pass all my classes, do my financial aid, work on my website and pass my exit interview. I will have to study my exit interview powerpoint to present in front of the panelist. The college applications are going good. I have applied to COS in Visalia. Now that I have applied there, all I would need to do is go and take the placement test. So far I have looked into self defense courses, the majors I can take but i'd be going to school full time and just find a job where I can save money and be able to move to Los Angeles to get my own place and transfer to a university to continue my education to receive a degree. I will continue my education because it looks better on a job application and in order to be in corrections I would need to be 21 years old. I will be going to school in the meantime until I am 21 years old and able to apply at at state or local prison.
As I am going to college in Visalia CA, at COS I will try and apply for jobs to pay for schooling and still save money at the same time. The good thing about going to a community first then transferring is being able to save money. It will be cheaper to stay and go to a community college.

I still can not believe I am a senior in high school and it is my last year. The last 3 years have went by so fast and has had many difficult moments in the years. My Freshmen year was the most scariest and confusing, because I had no idea what was going on or where I had to go. I met new people who I am very close with today. Sophomore year was my most exciting year and made with the best memories with a lot of different people. I have learned so much and my sophomore year teachers taught me many different ways to come at things and to be ready for my Junior year. My Junior year was were my teachers pushed me the most to achieve my goals by the end of the year. They taught me to never give up and to always try my best and that’s how I made it to where I am today.
My Senior year is going good so far still, I like all my classes and the teachers. I hope my senior year I get to keep exploring new things and be able to try different activities and get out my comfort zone every once in awhile. I am currently not on pace my senior year since my first journal, I am behind in one class. I am behind in Agricultural Biology, I have a very difficult time in science. My goal for science is to be able to finish the class before the year is over. I am looking forward to passing all my classes and going to grad night the end of the year before we graduate. My goal for this year is to pass all my classes and learn new material as I go on and push myself to succeed. My goal for the future is to be graduated from COS community college in 2 years and go to the correction academy and become a Correctional Officer. I hope my Senior year goes as planned and i’m able to finish my classes and be able to start applying for correctional positions. After I graduate I would be staying with my mom while I go to the community college in Visalia, CA and save money to get my own place in Los Angeles, CA.
Senior is probably the most stressful year of high school because it comes with a lot of work. Being a senior comes with a lot of responsibilities considering it’s the last year of high school, everything needs to be done and then i’ll graduate and be making my own decisions. I will have to find a job and go to college to help may for my books and school and other supplies I will be needing or if I want to move alone. Senior year is helping me plan ahead for what I want to be doing. It’s getting me ready for college and what I will be working on or what I may want to major in. It’s going to be a lot of effort and time consuming and hard work, my senior year is to help me succeed in my goals for the future.

Senior year so far has been a roller coaster and it's barely even started. I am currently a Lindsay High School varsity cheerleader. So far cheer has also been going good, and the team works as a team for stunts and cheer. It has been going good but I know it's just going to get harder when it get's closer to the time we are supposed to graduate because of the stressing out and trying not to get lazy to pass the classes. I have been waiting to be a senior since I was a freshman. Every freshman wishes to be a senior because its their last year in high school then they're on their own, making their own decisions and star being on their own. Senior year is your last of everything, last first day of high school, last prom, last homecoming, last powder-puff game and the last time being a high school student. It is such a great feeling knowing class of 2016 will be graduating and moving on to new and better things and on a new journey to start our careers. It has only been 5 weeks so far of senior year and I am currently on pace with all my classes and pushing myself so I can stay on pace and not fall behind. I try to stay after school as much as I can to finish anything that needs to be done or due. For my senior project, i'll be working on my journals and doing my job shadow, which it would be very difficult to do a job shadow on the career I would like to do because it involves working in a prison. Since it would be difficult to do a job shadow on corrections, my junior year i job shadowed a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS). His Job was very interesting but nothing I would want to pursue as a career. He did say his job can be difficult sometimes because, if someone messes up on the labeling of the blood work it can mess everything up and he would have to go back and make sure all of the blood work is labeled right. I would like to be in corrections at a state prison. What am I looking forward to in senior year? I am looking forward to finishing my classes and learning new material that can help me in the future. My goals for this year is to pass all my classes and be on pace to graduate and get everything done before the last day on June 3rd for seniors. There are 2 classes that I am currently on independent work because I am just finishing up the classes from a previous year. I would like to attend COS community college in Visalia after high school to finish some of the common courses and then transfer to a university in Los Angeles to continue my education. At COS I will be studying in criminal justice and continue that education, when I transfer. I still haven't decided what university I would like to attend after community college but i would like to be in Los Angeles. After I finish the 4 year university I will attend a academy before I apply at any prison to become a correctional officer. I must be 21 years old in order to work as a CO. Although it is a dangerous job and I will always have to be alert at any moment, and be on my toes, academy and the job itself can show me responsibilities, safety, respect, and determination. Correctional officer is the career I would like to pursue at a State prison or Local but a Los Angeles prison would be were i would want to work.
